Don't miss the chance to see a sunrise or sunset this
summer!
Seeing a sunrise or sunset in a stunning setting such as North
Wales really is special and can be a holiday highlight. Some of my
favourite holidays include memories of the most spectacular
sunrises, or more often sunsets - as getting up early whilst on
holiday is sometimes easier said than done! Why not aim this
summer, to catch a glimpse of either sun spectacle.
For a sunrise pick a place, check the weather, set an alarm (I
know alarm is a forbidden word during holiday, but trust us on this
one), and get up and out early - you won't regret it! Seeing the
sun slowly creep up above the mountains of Snowdonia or from the
front at Beaumaris as the sun beams stretch down the Menai Straits
is truly breathtaking.
If joining the early morning chorus isn't your thing, an
unforgettable evening can be spent snuggled under a blanket,a flask
of something warm in hand watching the sun come down. Just don't
forget your camera!
For a bit of summer sun watch inspiration, we've selected
some of the great places we like to catch sunrises and sunsets.
Obviously there is no end to places, all around North Wales, to
catch the rise or fall of the sun, below is just a small
selection.
We'd love to hear from you if you capture a brilliant sunrise or
sunset whilst holidaying in North Wales with us; or you find a
favourite place to watch from. Why not enter our new photo

No matter how many times I get to see a sunrise or sunset I
never tire of it and they make me appreciate the beauty that's
right here on my doorstep! Don't just take my word for
it...discover it, and find out for yourself something else to
add to your North Wales crown.
