restaurant. Tre campi is situated in ample grounds and is a traditonal style
italian house with large garden, own private pool, wonderful
covered loggia for al fresco dining and relaxing, bbq and
traditional wood burning pizza/bread oven. Internally the house is
spacious and well equipped, with living/diner complete with
fireplace, beamed ceilings and tradtional flooring, modern fully
equipped kitchen/breakfast room, 3 good size light and airy
bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. There is wifi too. Fuller details: Living/diner with dining facilities for six, comfy seating,

this is the perfect base for exploring this stunning region, being
just 40 mins from the centre of Lucca, and 15 mins from the
mediaeval town of Barga.

A little about the area
The house is 3km from the village of Cardoso, which is a really
beautiful olde worlde village perched on a hillside and with
amazing views at every turn. Here there are regular summer festas,
and there is also a popular traditional Tuscan Restaurant and
basic shop.
There is also a restaurant 1.5km in the other direction ,and the
house is only a few minutes drive from a popular lakeside
restaurant too which does great fish in the evenings.
For a full food shop, then the hypermarket in Gallicano is less
than a 10 min drive.

A stunning, characterful house, beautiful grounds and setting
and a lovely helpful owner. The views are incredible. Quite
possibly the most generous and thoughtful welcome basket we have
ever seen! Highly recommend.

The property was clean and well equipped the pool was large and
very clean. Communication was excellent throughout our stay.
Weather was against us as the area is quite mountainous and
therefore subject o fluctuations. Car is essential. Small town
nearby has everything required. Restaurant within walking distance
down a steep winding road but unfortunately was closed for the
majority of our stay.

We have just come back from our ten nights holiday in this
wonderful property which is hosted by the lovely Patrizia and her
extremely helpful and kind son, Francesco. On arrival Francisco was
waiting at the property to welcome us, show us around, explain
things to us, and answer any questions. Francesco was then always
available via text to kindly help us make restaurant reservations,
etc. He was always very quick to respond, and went above and beyond
to make sure we were happy and had everything we might need. He is
such a lovely person. It was very nice also to meet Patrizia. Her
jar of gorgeous homemade jam was a special treat in amongst the
very generous box of welcome provisions in the kitchen. The house
is a beautiful and traditional Italian home with three big sized
bedrooms (that each have a fan and mosquito blinds), a shower room
with WC, sink and bidet, a downstairs shower room with WC, small
kitchen with everything you could possibly need, and a cosy living
room. There were plenty of towels for all us, and Francesco even
delivered a big box of more towels mid-stay! There is a fantastic
laundry room, too. We absolutely adored the property's stunning
outdoors with breathtaking views all around. The swimming pool was
amazing, aswell as its eight sun longers, parasol, and cabina. The
two outdoor covered dining areas are also excellent; in particular
the beautiful loggia situation next to the impressive
outdoor-kitchen and pizza oven. Perfection. welcome us

It was enjoyable in this real Italian house with beautiful
garden and lovely pool.

I spend 2 weeks in the Villa Tre Campi through july 2024, and it
was a really great stay. The area is 30min by car north of Lucca,
which should not be a surprise to anyone. That area is amazing, and
offers splendid views from more or less anywhere you look. It is
not touristed, and it is an opportunity to experience the authentic
Italy. It requires an effort to get there, but when you are, it is
worth the effort. What actually surprised us the most was the
quality of the outdoor area, and the fact that the owner showed up
every morning before 07 to water flowers and make sure the
surroundings looked perfect. The pool was cleaned every other day,
and there simply was nothing more to ask about. I give the location
3 stars, but that is a personal reflection. The area just south of
Lucca is also spectacular, but much easier to reach. We could
though drive all the way to the house, which is not either possible
everywhere. The house is a classic tuscan house, that you can find
many places, but the outdoor facilities was a difference. Even the
young drummer next door felt natural to listen to through the warm
afternoons :o). Thank you Francesco, it was a great vacation. One
of the kind we did not want to end.

It was simply fantastic: a great area, an exquisite holiday home
and the crowning glory was the service provided by the agency in
person by Francesco and his mother. It started with the friendly
welcome, the smooth handover of the house, the friendly service -
everything was impeccable. I would also like to emphasise the
provision of food, wine and other Italian delicacies on our

If you like it a bit remote, this is the perfect place to spend
a few relaxing days. This accommodation offers everything your
heart desires, you just have to be prepared for the fact that a car
is indispensable here.

Lovely property, exactly as described, with great outdoor space.
Very nice pool, though a little chilly in late September! Our host,
Francesco, was very helpful and quick to respond - excellent
communication before and during our stay.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The house is very nice and clean. It
is equipped with everything you need. The pool ist great and
perfect for relxing. The view from the garden ist really nice. The
owner of the house is very helpful and discreet. There was a
welcome box with all the local food that you need for a fist meal.

This has to have been one of the most wonderful houses we have
stayed in. The house was beautiful in so many ways, finished to a 5
star standard, traditional furnishings, everything we could ever
need or wish for. It was comfortable for all of us. The pool was
simply sumptuous, perfect size, superbly clean and well appointed.
I couldn't be more positive. We are a family of 4 with 2 active
boys, the owner helped us to organise an amazing bike ride, and
offered so much more too. We'll be back for some of the other
offerings sometime soon. The house could easily accommodate more
people and we considered how easy it would be to have other people
with us. The owner was immensely helpful at all stages. We loved
this house and were very sad to leave it. Can't wait until we go
back again.

We had a lovely week and the house, garden and swimming pool
were absolutely perfect. We would like to go back again.

When we arrived at the house, we were welcomed by Francesco and
his mother. In the house was a wooden box filled with all kinds of
Italian foods such as pasta, olive oil, etc. Tour of the house and
explanation of the equipment. I have rarely seen a house with so
many light switches and sockets. You can turn the light on and off
at any point in the house and it's all right. Have the idea that
francesco is an electrician who has put his whole heart and soul
into the electrical system..impressive. a lot of work has been put
into the house and it shows. From tiling to stucco painting paving
pool. An illuminated walkway to the swimming pool.. could go on for
a while. A big fat enough for the end result. Location is great. 20
minutes from Lucca. 3 quarters of an hour from pisa. An hour and a
half from florence. And then quickly back to the house to have a
barbecue and dive into the pool.

of hoptality. A very warm welcome with a box of goods, including
dolci's for a birthday. The house is very complete and clean. Area

We can fully recommend this accommodation. This home is equipped
with everything and much more. The cleanliness was top.
But the best thing was the care of the landlord on site. When we
arrived we had chilled milk and butter drinks, as well as homemade
jam and homemade bread in the kitchen. The Tuscan bottle of wine
was not missing either. The landlord lived somewhere else and
always asked us if he could come over to clean the pool.
Unfortunately, the roof suffered a lot from a storm a week before
our arrival. He still managed to fix it. Nevertheless, he had 2
appointments with the insurance company on site, which he always
coordinated with us. Communication via WhatsApp went smoothly. The
very best was the wine tasting he organized in a wine bar where you
only meet locals. We are very grateful for this experience from a
landlord who cared about his guests and treated them so
courteously. We would 100% choose this property again. Have a nice
holiday everyone :-)

We, 2 family friends, spent our holidays from August 14th to August 27th, 2021 in the beautiful house of Patrizia. We were warmly welcomed by her and Emilio. Everything was shown and explained to us. Patrizia provided us with flowers and a basket with lots of goodies. It was fantastic. We have never seen anything like it before. Everything else was there that you need to start your vacation relaxed. The house has a very special charm and has been lovingly prepared. We immediately felt at home. The equipment left nothing to be desired for us. We liked to use all the seats (preferably the place directly opposite the house entrance) and also loved the hammock. We loved the fantastic pool. We spent a lot of fun hours there. The surroundings also delighted us every day. It is quiet and idyllic on the property, but you can still do some shopping and go on nice excursions quickly. Patricia and her sons were there for us during the entire stay and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Emilio explained and showed us how to use the wood stove and we had a lot of fun baking pizza. That was a great experience too. You always felt the warmth. A very warm thank you for everything. We award all the stars that are possible.

Nice welcome from the owner Patrizia, a very kind and attentive lady. The house very clean and well equipped. Excellent wifi (even in the garden!). The property is very well situated with a wonderful view, a beautiful swimming pool and a very large piece of land. There is also an excellent wood oven and a grill for a barbecue. In summary, I can only say that this stay was really great. 100% recommendable
