Situated in a mountainous and rural position with wonderful views of the Appennines, this spacious and private 2 bedroom cottage with private solar heated infinity style pool has been sympathetically refurbished, all brand new and modern, but with beamed ceilings and solid wood windows. The house is spacious, light and airy and perfect for a mountain retreat.
There is an open plan living/kitchen/diner with oven, hob,
dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge freezer.
Also here you will find a breakfast bar style dining table for
indoor dining, comfy seating and 55" Smart TV, Fibre optic 50mbs
WIFI.
On the ground floor there is a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage, and a pristine shower room .
On the first floor is a twin bedroom, loft style with arch beamed ceilings and also with a double sofabed and plenty of clothes storage.

A little about the area:
Situated high in the mountains 400M from a restaurant and the outskirts of the village of Corfino, this is a really peaceful retreat in the depths of the countryside, affording privacy for a relaxing holiday. The village of Corfino itself has a basic shop, a couple of hotels with restaurants and a further two restaurants, so the house does not feel too remote!
The National Park of Orecchiella is only a 10 minute drive, perfect for walking and Eagle spotting!
There are supermarkets in the local village of Pieve Fosciana, a 15 minute drive and the market town of Castelnuovo is 20 minutes away.
If you can tear yourselves away from the garden and pool for days out, the medieaval town of Barga is 35 mins; Lucca 1 hr 15 mins, Pisa, 1 hr 35 mins.
This property is a perfect mix of mountain retreat and convenience, and a great base for enjoying the unique landscape of mountainous Northern Tuscany
NB - car necessary. Access road is narrow and a little bumpy and unmade for 200M but passable in ordinary car . Owner will take you down to the house the first time.

We are absolutely thrilled with our holiday in this beautiful
house surrounded by a wonderful landscape. The house has everything
you need and nothing is missing. Tea towels, spices, oils, games,
lots of crockery - everything has been thought of. The pool invites
you to linger every day and in the evening we had a barbecue and
enjoyed the peace and quiet. Even the shepherd came to the pasture
next to the pool on two days. That was super exciting for the
children. The dogs mentioned are there, but you can't hear them at
night. During the day you can hear them more or less. They didn't
bother us. The road is very narrow and uneven. We were there with a
Hyundai Santa Fe and everything worked out fine. However, my
husband is also a very experienced driver. We had great trips to
the beach, Lucca and Pisa. The communication with the owners was
excellent (requests for tips were answered quickly) and the cake
was a great treat on arrival. We can highly recommend the
house.

A great one, where NOTHING was really missing. We have never had a holiday home that was so well equipped down to the last detail. If you then have such friendly and helpful landlords: what more could you ask for?!? :-)

We spent 1 week there. A beautiful villa with a pool. It also has a ping pong table with rackets. The landlords have thought of almost everything. I missed the hair dryer but that's all. The property is huge. Our little dog had enough space to let off steam. Here you can relax, pure nature. The villa is furnished in a modern style. The landlords are very friendly. We even got a vegetable basket and eggs, thanks.

The location and house are perfect for people who want some seclusion and tranquility from it all. About the house: Top location with a wonderful direct view of the mountains and the nearby village of Corfino, 1 km away. 1a and furnished with great attention to detail. The modern house was very clean, with a modern ventilation system and air conditioning. From bed linen and towels to complete kitchen equipment, everything was there. Great beds and neck pillows. There is even fast WiFi in the house and by the pool! The pool was cleaned daily and, with a length of around 10 m, is also suitable for swimming. Everything made with love. Generous change, where our dog felt very comfortable. The hosts and parents were just great and extremely friendly and attentive. We will never forget your generosity!! Surroundings: In the nearby pretty village there are restaurants and a small shop where you can get everything you need - a large selection with many local specialties at reasonable prices. You can also go hiking and biking here. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will probably come again. All in all - worth every euro!!! Thank you again for everything!
