There is a spacious kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing

garden and pool.
The kitchen leads up a few stairs into a pretty living room with lots of windows, fireplace, tv, dvd, cd, comfy seating, dining table and chairs, and a door leading outside. Wifi
Upstairs the house has a pretty double bedroom with door leading outside, a twin room (which can also be converted to a double)and a luxury shower room with hydromassage shower.
Alsoon this floor thereis a very large light landing area with 3 windows and great views, with sofa bed which can be used as a further living area or as a third bedroom….
Outside there is over 5 hectares of private land including a garden area, eating area, and woodland bordering a stream.
The brand new solar heated pool is 10m x 5m,with roman steps and 1.5m deep.

A little about the area
Situated high in the mountains 2km from the village of Corfino, this is a really peaceful retreat in the depths of the countryside, affording total privacy for a relaxing holiday. The village of Corfino itself has a basic shop, a couple of hotels with restaurants and a further two restaurants, so the house does not feel too remote!
The National Park of Orecchiella is only a 10 minute drive, perfect for walking and Eagle spotting!
There are supermarkets in the local village of Pieve Fosciana, a 15 minute drive and the market town of Castelnuovo is 20 minutes away.
For days out, the medieaval town of Barga is 35 mins; Lucca 1 hr 15 mins, Pisa, 1 hr 35 mins.

Wonderfully remote and quiet. The caretakers were extremely
friendly, and the house and property were super clean.

Very secluded villa, beautiful well kept property with lovely
hosts, they left a basket of food when they came to clean the pool
which was a lovely touch and a homemade pie on arrival. On the day
of arrival it was cold and rainy and they had lit the fire for our
arrival. Not much opportunity for eating out, every time we walked
into the village all the restaurants were closed.

The house is a bit isolated and was difficult to find at first.
The holiday there was wonderful and the hosts very nice. The
village with a small shop and pizzeria and restaurants can be
reached on foot in about 25 minutes via a beautiful path. Overall,
highly recommended if you want to be left alone!

Nice house with a great pool in no man's land, hikes in the
Oricchella Park with/without a guide absolutely worthwhile,
shopping in Corfino is possible, very relaxing week, the pool was
cleaned three times a week at 7 in the morning, otherwise you were
completely to yourself

This house is really well maintained. The landlords are very
nice and take care of everything! Thank you again! The house is
quite high in a completely secluded location. It's quiet and nobody
really bothers you. The pool is great and always nice and warm. The
house is beautifully furnished, so that you can feel really
comfortable. A really great house in a great location!

The house and the garden are very well maintained.
We felt very comfortable. The pool is perfect. The landlords very
friendly and reserved. If you want to make a lot of excursions you
have to reckon with longer travel times. Anyone looking for peace
and relaxation will feel at home.

One can only say, simply beautiful. Great ambience inside and outside also very lovingly designed. The pool is really big and it was a lot of fun for the children to swim in it and play with a water polo player. Man is by car in 30 minutes at Good shopping and in 1:30 in Pisa and in 2:30 in Florence. A lot of hiking opportunities. Greetings Fam. Kornek

We found exactly what we were looking for here. A lonely house with a pool in beautiful surroundings. If you want to relax 100%, far away from the rest of the holiday hustle and bustle, this is the right place for you. The landlords are super nice and even provided us with cakes, fresh eggs and salad. In this house you are completely to yourself, only forest and mountains around it. The driveway to the house is very exciting, but definitely worth it. That was by far our best vacation because everything was just right and we were able to relax 100%. We will definitely spend our vacation there more often. Many thanks again to the great landlords! Date of arrival - June 20, 2021
