This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. On the first morning when you throw open the french doors and sit and take in the views you will know you made the right choice. The hosts pop along each morning and clean the pool for you. We used to sunbathe in or by the pool until afterlunch then go and exploreintbe afternoon. We went through the mountains to the coast and beach watching the sun go down whilst standing on the pier. Then drove to lucca for supper. One afternoon we visited pisa and paid for parking near to the tower. One afternoon we did bagni de lucca and barga We also watched the sun go down and casting wonderful sun light over the mountain and trees at lake gramalazzo before eating in a taverna. We walked up to the fortess and then recovered whilst drinking lovelly cold drinks and trying to work out how some one drove thier Fiat panda up a parked outside the gates. In summary as long as you are confident driving on the wrong side of the road dont hesitate and book this house you.

We felt very comfortable in the house of Marinella and her family. They are friendly landlords who are available at any time if you have a request. We can also recommend the delicious red wine produced by the landlord. The house is cosily furnished and the large property with pool is ideal for relaxing, especially as the forest is right next door. As the house is on the outskirts, you need a car. But that shouldn't stop anyone from spending a holiday in this wonderful and less touristy place. We can only recommend the house of Marinella and her family. We had an absolutely relaxing and restful holiday. Many thanks for everything!

Very good communication from the owners before and throughout our stay. The property is very well equipped and we really enjoyed the pool area and garden. This is a more rural part of Tuscany, but Lucca, Pisa and Florence etc can be reached by car, or car and train. A lovely place to stay.

Das war wunderschöne Urlaub im Wunderschönen Haus. Wir waren zuzweit von 7.05.23 bis 14.05.23 im Haus Tenuta La Quercia. Die Familia hat um gut empfangen mit einem kleinen willkommensgeschenk. An alles war gedacht , schöne neuwertige Küche, gute Wohnzimmer, sehr schönen Pool, war jeden Tag sauber und mit blaue Beleuchtung nachts.Viel Steckdose auch draußen was sehr praktisch ist. Die Lage ist super , toller Aussicht, an der Balkon kleinen Tisch mit Stühle auf sonnige Seite perfekt zum frühstücken. Danke an Maliella und ihre nette Familie. Und auch für die hausgemachten Wein von Papa. Wie können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Ausflüge wie Pisa, Florenz, Lucca , kleine Dorf in der näher ist eine Muss. Wir kommen wieder

Wir waren von 7 bis 14 Mai 2023 mit 2 Personen in Haus. Die Familie war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, war immer für jeder Frage sofort da. Das Haus ist sehr schön, sehr sauber, Komfortabel,,,Der Pool schön beleuchtet , tief genug und immer sauber. Steckdosen waren genug da und auch an der terasse was sehr praktisch ist. Küche ist neuwertig mit viel Geschirr und Besteck. Alles in italienische Still und liebevoll angerichtet. An der Bslkon kann man gut frühstücken und die Sonnenaufgang genießen. Nur ein Nachbarnhaus der auch frei war ist in der Nähe. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön zum Erholung. Toller Blick auf Berge und kleinen Dorf. Man kan zufuß in Casciana zur alter Burg gehen oder auch in piazza al Serchio ist durch Serpentinen weg in ca.40 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Ausflüge wie Pisa, Luca, Florenz sind sehr interessant. Our first time in Tuscany as a family trip. What stays with us is the warm welcome from the family . The freedom of this house is enormous, wonderfully free from everything. For the bbq enthusiasts, a beautiful wood BBQ and wood fire pit. Beautiful route for walking, lovely swimming pool. House equipped with all conveniences. The family came every day to clean everything outside and inside upon request without disturbing us. Also received a warm welcome at the local terrace in the village, i learned a lot of the village history. Absolutely recommended for everyone.

We stayed in this beautiful property with our 2 dogs. The whole house is very well maintained and really extremely clean, we really appreciated that! The garden is large, with fresh flowers, and a very well-kept, large pool that is cleaned every morning. We received a very warm welcome. This place exudes great peace and quiet, with a great view of the mountains. The garden is really as big as in the pictures and is completely fenced in except for two entrances to the house. We can highly recommend this house! Thank you for the loving hospitality and the fine wine.

The house is very clean and there is everything you need inside. The pool is also very nice as it cleaned by the owners every day. There is also a big garden with different places to relax. The owners are really nice and gave us a warm welcome, little attentions and came to say goodbye. We recommend the house unreservedly. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful house with a delicious pool in an incredibly beautiful area, with beautiful nature and cozy villages. Everything you need is in the house. Very friendly host couple who clean the pool every day, and possibly Things to fix. Definitely a place we will visit again. Arrival 8 July 23

We were warmly welcomed by the host family at the holiday home and said goodbye again. Marienella and her children prepared everything very lovingly. The house is simply furnished, but everything you need is there. The kitchen is new. Our bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountains from there was so beautiful. We have rarely found a holiday home so clean. The garden was a dream for us and our four-legged friend. There were various seating and places to linger. The garden, as you can see from the pictures, is really that huge. When the weather is nice, you can relax by the great pool. This was cleaned every morning. The next village is within walking distance. There is a small bistro there, which is run by Maria. The food there is simply delicious and definitely recommended. For shopping you have to go to the next town, about 10 minutes by car. The family was always available and helped. A small note that you should know... Maria wasn't open every day when we were on vacation and only from 8:00 p.m. The huge garden is fenced in with a high fence to prevent escape. However, two entrances to the house are free, so four-legged friends could escape. A car is mandatory. We would recommend the cottage 100%.

The holiday house is very nice, with a very good pool. Both a well cleaned. Very nice garden, beautiful surroundings and nature. The owners are very sweet, a good reception on arrival. They also take care of the daily maintenance of the pool, without violating your privacy.

Beautiful garden including pool, absolut silence, incredible view from the balcony, everything clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful owners, equipment clomplete and in good working order……. Perfect holidays!

We loved our stay at the house. It was extremely clean and the lovely owners put a lot of thought in every detail. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is even an outside fire place and BBQ. You can walk 10 minutes to a small coffee shop/bar with cold snacks and a kiosk included for basic needs. A bigger grocery store, Camporgiano Train Station, and some restaurants are a 10 minute drive by car. The communication with the owners was really good and super kind. We would love to come back again and thank you for the wine!
